HANS ULRICH , Son of Jakob, born Oct 5, 1575, died Aug.10, 1627, he took over the Schadenmill from his father and was it’s third owner. Was a member of the city council of Baden, commander of the suburban troops. Married to Maria Frey of Baden (2/7/1600). She died at the age of 76 on 6/16/1667. Hans Ulrich sold house, barn, meadows and garden next to the Schadenmill on the Wettingerroad to his wife’s sister Barbara Frey. She bought it with her dowry and donated it to the sisters and she became herself Sister Clara in the cloister “Maria Kroenung”(The crowning of Mary) which existed until1867. Married on Febr.6,1605 to Elizabeth Mueller from Lengnau, died Sept.15,1641.Had severe quarrels with his mother in law. Commander of the troops of the suburbs. Children: Verena, Peter, Anna Maria, Johann Jakob, Maria, Elizabeth, Adelheid, Margret, Johann Ludwig.
