THE BORSINGER CHRONIK

SIGMUND, Son of Jakob I. Born Aug.20, 1580 Knight of the German Order (Deutsch Ordens-Ritter). At Iberg in Mellingen. By selling the house to the German Knights Order, he considerably enlarged the building to make it into a “Filialkompturei”(Branch Commission) of the main house of the Order in Beuggen near Badish-Rheinfelden(Picture of the family crest above the entrance arch of the house). It appears that Sigmund was present there during the construction, but otherwise there is no mentioning about him in Mellingen.
