The Passing of a Great Man
Dr Guido Borsinger died today February 2nd 2010 on his 94th birthday. My Dad was a great father and loved by many. He painstakingly wrote the ABOUT section of the Borsinger.com site that highlights several hundred years of the Borsinger family.
Dad died of cancer that caused him much pain and discomfort for the past 1 -1/2 years. The end was very peaceful and he now can look down upon all of us with that well known Borsinger stare.
May God be with you Dad – Love your son.
To all in the Family. I just wanted to share a few thoughts. Not many people may know this, but our family is forever indebted to Uncle Guido and Aunt Josephine. When we were most down on our luck and left to face all the adversity in a new country without any resources it was they who lent us the money to put us on our feet. Uncle Guido had many wonderful virtues, he was wise and gentle, he was an excellent physician and role model, no doubt he was most proud of his two sons, and his grand kids, but most of all he loved his wife to the end and suffered at the thought of leaving her. He will be missed at all our family reunions, but will never be far from our thoughts. He lived a life rich in memories and love. Rest in Peace.
