CHRISTOPH, (pictured at right) son of Johann Ludwig and Maria, Marg. Dorothea Bodmer, born May,21,1683 and died Dec.21,1739 in Naples. Captain in the Services of Saxony and France. Married 1) to Katharina Surlaubi 6/17/1731, 2) Kopp. I believe his portrait hangs in the dining room at the Horben Castle.

OSWALD LEODEGAR ANTON, son of Jakob born Aug.28,1723 in Bremgarten, married on Nov.18,1750 to Maria Elisabeth von Lauffen. Children: 1 son 1752 . This line in Bremgarten died out I the 18th century.

The Borsinger family was at the Schadenmill since 1549 when Niklaus Borsinger a miller in Bremgarten, bought it for his son Ulrich. After 7 generation the mill burned down on Oct.16, 1768 at that time belonging to Johann (Hans) Ludwig Borsinger, it was bought by Franz Joseph Brunner Diebolt. Johann Ludwig’s son Fridolin, on May 7,1681 bought the UPPER MILL and after that no Borsinger was in the miller trade. Fridolin was Joseph Fridolin’s uncle another uncle,Christoph Borsinger(1677-1737) was Captain in the services of Saxony,France and Naples. His father was “Cursor domini prefecti comitatus”,Johann Babtist (1677-1726),he died only 49 years old. His mother was Anna Katherina Zimmermann,born Jan.28,1683,a daughter of Melchior Zimmermann and Anna Katherina,born Dorer. They had 10 daughters from 1705-1720 and finally on Jan.18,l723 he was born as their only son. JOSEPH FRI- DOLIN was Officer in the French Services, then for 5 years “5 annos oculis orbatus” a member of the Great Council, in 1757 he became “Gartengesell” and he was clerk of the court. On March 5, 1756 he married Maria Anna Wiederkehr, daughter of Dietrich
